Cancellation of the Fisherman's Ring and the Lead Seal


The ring is known as the “Fisherman's Ring” because it depicts St. Peter casting a net into the sea. The cancellation of the ring and seal took place during the general congregation of cardinals, on the eve of the Conclave to elect a new Pontiff.
